Clarification of my extra credit ?policy? for Finance 4335

One of my longstanding goals as a professor is to do all that I can to instill curiosity and a love for learning in my students.? Thus I occasionally offer extra credit for learning about important topics.? My bias in selecting extra credit assignments is naturally directed toward topics which intrigue me and have important public policy implications.? The extra credits are not intended to substitute for the quizzes which I give for the purpose of incentivizing students to be well prepared for class.? During the course of the semester, I give a limited number of extra credit assignments, ALL of which Finance 4335 students are encouraged to take advantage of.

To date, I have offered two extra credit opportunities for Finance 4335.? The first extra credit opportunity expired a little over 45 minutes ago.? The second extra credit opportunity will expire this coming Friday @ 5 p.m., so you still take advantage of that opportunity if you want to (the organization that hosted a ?live? stream of the Texas AG?s presentation at a luncheon today has posted a recording of his presentation at http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/25203649).
