The first confirmed case of fungal meningitis has been identified in Texas, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC reported 15 new cases of meningitis on Friday, including two in Florida, three in Indiana, three in Virginia, two in Michigan, two in New Jersey, and one each in Maryland, Texas and Tennessee. CDC officials did not disclose the location of the confirmed case in Texas.

There are now 205 reported cases of fungal meningitis, believed to be caused by contaminated steroid medication produced by the New England Compounding Center.
