?What Kind of Inspections Should I get?? is the next video in my series of videos for Albuquerque home buyers. There are many different kinds of home inspection you can get, each one protects you and helps to insure that you are making a smart purchase.
?Well that?s a really great question and there?s many different types of inspections that you can get on a house. At a minimum I have all my buyer clients get a full home inspection and a termite inspection. Other properties might call for other inspections like if there?s a pool, you want to have that pool checked out, not just the pool itself but the pool equipment. If you?re buying a home near the Sandia Mountains it?s a great idea to have a radon test done. If a home inspector is in there doing his home inspection and he finds signs of water, standing water or maybe a little bit of mold, then a follow up mold inspection is crucial. And with older properties in the northeast heights more than 15 years old I always recommend that we have the sewer line scoped out. Each inspection that you do is just giving you more and more protection to make sure you are making a smart purchase and that your investment will be protected for, hopefully, ?years to come.? ?
